This case is taken up through video conferencing. 2.

This petition is filed seeking an order of this Court to transfer the case in M.C.No.485 of 2020, pending on the file of the Additional Family Court No.VI, Chennai, to the file of Principal Family Court, Salem.

3. For the sake of convenience, the parties will be referred to by their names. Girija initiated proceedings in M.C.No.485 of 2010 under Section 125 Cr.P.C., against her husband Raj, in the Family Court at Chennai and the same is now pending on the file of the VI Additional Family Court, Chennai. While being so, Girija has filed the present transfer petition for transferring the case in M.C.No.485 of 2010 to Family Court, Salem.

4. Heard Mr.M.Mohana Sundaram, learned counsel appearing for Girija and Mrs.N.Ramamani, learned counsel appearing for Raj.

5. On instructions, the learned counsel on both sides submitted that Girija is now in Pudukottai and Raj is now living in Trichy, and therefore, if the case is transferred to Trichy instead of Salem, it will benefit both of them. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of the consensus arrived at by the parties, this Court directs the V Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, to transfer the case in M.C.No.485 of 2010 on its file to the Family Court, Trichy. The VI Additional Family Court, Chennai is also directed to send the entire case records of M.C.No.485 of 2010 to Family Court, Trichy, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Both the parties are directed to appear before the Family Court, Trichy at 10.30 a.m., on 01.12.2020.
