This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to conduct speedy investigation and to file a final report before the concern Court in Cr.No.198 of 2009.
2. The petitioner submits that he owned a vacant land measuring 11 cents in Survey No.21/3B at Old Perungalathur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuramm District. When the petitioner went to construct a compound wall in the said
property, the 3rd respondent along with others obstructed him. Hence, he preferred a complaint before the 2nd respondent police, but the same has not been registered. In the meantime, the 3rd respondent had lodged a complaint against one Goutham Chand and others and the same was registered in Crime No.198 of 2009 for the offence under sections 406, 417, 418, 419, 420, 467, 471 and 506(ii) r/w Section 34 IPC . The petitioner herein is cited as a witness in the said case. Due to the pendency of the case registered in Crime No.198/2009, the petitioner was not in a position to enter into his property. Hence, he has file this present petition to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.
3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation is conducted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Team 22A, Chennai and the investigation is almost completed and within a short span of time, the final report will be filed.
