By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st to 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner representation letter dated 05.03.2026 and further directing the 1st to 3rd respondents to give electricity connection to the petitioner house in survey No.120/2A1A, Pallavedu Village, Chennai-55 based on his payment challan No.PGCCAN835417635 dated 18.2.2026 in accordance with law.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute owner of S.No.120/2A1A, Palavedu Village, Outer Ring Road, Chennai. He gave an application for electricity connection by paying all the requisite fees, however, the same is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
