For respondents : Mr.C.Emalias in all Crl.OPs Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These criminal original petitions have been filed to call for the records and to quash the proceedings pending against the petitioner in C.C.Nos.48/2000, 87 to 94 of 2003 respectively on the file of Judicial Magistrate II, Thiruvallur, in Cr.No.4/96, on the file of respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the trial has begun and witnesses are being examined in the trial Court.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court cannot interfere and quash the prosecution at this stage. Since, the case is of the year 2000, the trial Court is directed to expeditiously conduct the trial and dispose of the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In view of the above, these criminal original petitions are disposed of.
