This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, E4, Kaatur Police Station, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District to grant necessary protection to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is being harassed by his son Thyagarajan, born through his second wife Kanthammal. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint in writing before the second respondent police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into by calling both the parties action taken in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Liberty is given to the petitioner to take recourse to the appropriate forum under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.
