Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2019 and stop the respondents 3 and 4 from providing electric connection to the fifth respondent's land by drawing high tension overhead electric lines through or above the petitioner's lands in the interest of justice. ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to forbear the respondents 3 and 4 from providing the electricity connection to the fifth respondent's land as this would lead to serious injury to the people living in and around that area.

2. When the matter is taken up, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the respondents have already erected the post in the subject land without causing much damage to the petitioner's land and also to the people living in that area. The said submission is recorded.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. WMP.No.10949 of 2019 is closed.
