Prayer:- The Writ Miscellaneous Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to pass an order of injunction restraining the respondents from disconnecting the Service Connection No.039094340324 pending disposal of this Writ Petition.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to grant an order of injunction restraining the respondents from disconnecting the Service Connection No.039094340324, pending disposal of the Writ Petition.

2. The admitted case of the petitioner is that the petitioner-Company is due and payable a sum of Rs.18,77,982/- towards the minimum consumption charges for the period from February to May 2020. The petitioner seeks permission to pay this amount in installment, due to the fact that the Company has been closed down owing to the pandemic situation.

3. In view of the above submissions, there shall be an order of interim injunction subject to the following conditions: a) The petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs only) every month starting from August 2020 onwards along with the monthly demand raised by the respondent;

b) The petitioner while paying the last and 6th installment shall pay a

sum of Rs.3,77,982/- (Rupees three lakhs seventy seven thousand and nine hundred and eighty two only) along with the monthly demand raised for that particular month by the respondent;

and c) It is made clear that if the petitioner fails to comply with anyone of the conditions imposed by this Court, the interim order granted by this Court shall stand automatically vacated without any further reference to this Court.
