ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The claim of the petitioner is that his father, who is 88 years old, is under the illegal detention of the 2nd respondent. Notice was ordered on 03.05.2018 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, would submit that the detenu is not under the custody of the 2nd respondent ; but he has left for Singapore on 21.04.2018 along with his another son. A copy of the passport of the alleged detenu has also been produced, which shows that he has left the shores of India and reached Singapore on 21.04.2018 and he has also departed from Singapore on 23.04.2018.

Therefore, there is no ground to conclude that the detenu is under illegal detention. In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
