This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.638 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent and the perused the materials available on records.
4. On perusal of the FIR, this Court is of the view that FIR has been registered on the basis of the complaint lodged by the Consulate General of Federal Republic of Germany, Chennai. The allegations found in the FIR as against the petitioner mainly indicates that there is forgery of passport. Hence, the same is required proper investigation.

5. In such view of the matter, I do not find any merits to quash this petition.
