This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 222 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the order passed in C.A.No.337/2018 by the learned I Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent did not raise any serious objection and this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is in order, and list the matter after four weeks.
