ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the order dated 27.02.2024 and consequently to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate basis in any suitable job in the Police Department.

2. Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the impugned order is not at all sustainable for the reasons stated therein.

3. Be that as it may, it can be seen that the petitioner was only 4 years old at the time of death of his father.

4. In view thereof, the matter now has been well settled by this Court, the application by minors who attain majority after three years of the death would not be within time. Though it may be an unfortunate case, this Court cannot grant any relief within the four corners of the 2/4

scheme and law and I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. 05.04.2024 Index: Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No mp To
