COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J) Criminal Revision case No.1012 of 2012 is directed against the judgment dated 8 March 2012 in Crl.A.No.96 of 2011 whereby and whereunder, the VI Additional Sessions Judge, Madras allowed the appeal in part with a direction to the petitioner to pay a sum of R s.25,08,363/- to the respondent under Section 20(1) of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

2. The respondent in Crl.R.C.No.1012 of 2012 filed this contempt petition alleging suppression of the order passed by the Supreme Court with regard to deposit of the amount.

3. The matter was referred to mediation. The parties have settled the matter before the mediators and agreed to withdraw all the pending proceedings.

4. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the contempt petition is closed. The Crl.R.C.No.1012 of 2012 filed by the petitioner is also closed. Consequently the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. No costs.
