By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioners. 3.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioners is that they sent representation to the respondents 1 and 2 to issue separate / individual patta for their properties in Survey Nos.451/1, 451/2 and 451/3, situated at Madhavaram Village, Peruma Kovil Street. However, the same has not been considered by the respondent 1 and 2.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that, if an online application is given by the 2/4
petitioners, the same will be considered by the second respondent within a reasonable time.

In such view of the matter, the petitioners shall submit online application to the second respondent for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such application being received, the second respondent shall consider and pass orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months thereafter.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 18.04.2024 Speaking order / Non-speaking order Index : Yes / No : Yes / No sri 3/4
