2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the trial has already been commenced in C.C.No.70 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court -II, Ponneri.

4. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
