O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct further investigation and include all the offences committed by the accused as stated in the complaint dated 15.04.2021 and complete the investigation within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Learned counsel for Government of Tamilnadu (Crl.Side) submitted that F.I.R has been registered and investigation is under process.

3. This Court is of the view that merely because of registration of F.I.R against a person, the petitioner, as a matter of right, cannot seek to include any other offences other than the offences which has already been registered in F.I.R. It is the wisdom of the Investigation Officer to collect the materials and find out any materials against the person whom Charge sheet has to be filed.

4. In view of the above, I do not find any merits in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If at all any other materials are found by the Investigation Officer, it is open to the petitioner to canvas before the Trial Court even during the trial and avail remedy under Section 319 of Cr.P.C.
