This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 15.10.2015 in CSR No.1649 of 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 15.10.2015, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.1649 of 2015 and the same has been closed by the 1st respondent-Police after obtaining statement dated 08.02.2016 given by the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. On reading of the complaint, it is seen that the opposite party is a Police Constable working in Armed Reserve and it is alleged that he had assaulted the petitioner. This Court is not satisfied with the manner in which, the enquiry has been conducted by the 1st respondent-Police.

5. Under such circumstances, the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of W-30 All Women Police Station, Poonamallee, Chennai-56 is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR.No.1649 of 2015 and take action in accordance with law. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
