Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order in proceedings O.Mu.No.1618/A5/2020 dated 19.03.2020 of the 6th respondent and consequential proceedings in Na.Ka.No.55/2020 dated 31.03.2020 of the 7th respondent which was served on the petitioner on 29.05.2020, quash the same and consequently, direct the 6th respondent to grant re-employment to the petitioner.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 28.11.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was directed to be listed under the caption 'For Orders' on 04.12.2024. Again, on 06.12.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "For Dismissal" on 09.12.2024.
2. Even today, 09.12.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing at 01.15 p.m., none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. It is made clear and evident that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case.
3. Since there is no representation for the petitioner, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.
4. In the result, the writ petition stands dismissed for NonProsecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
