Impaired SVG Pro 5.2 at a total cost of Rs.29,40,000/- from M/s.SHG Technologies Private Limited having office at Unit No.507, 5 th Floor, Brigade Rubix, Plot No.20, HMT Main Road, Bangalore 560013 by making payments from the accumulated funds that corresponds to FY 2019-20 of the Trust Estates, namely, Madras Ordinance Pensioned Luscars Charities, Nagai Visalakshi Ammal Trust and Pettukola Rajamannar ChettyTrust, for donating the same to visually impaired individuals.
(2)Learned AG&OT has filed a report along with the above applications stating that the above named Trust estates have surplus income in their hands to be spent before 31.03.2025. Learned AG&OT has further stated that Dr.Sahithya Bhaskaran, MS, Associate Professor, Department of Paediatric Opthalmology, Strabismus and Vision Rehabilitation, Aravind Eye Hospital, has submitted a request by their e-mail communication dated 15.03.2025 for providing Smart Vision Glasses to 30 people with vision impairment. Similarly, another request from SAKSHAM, a non governmental Organization has also been received for providing Smart Vision Glasses for 56 visually impaired beneficiaries of Cuddalore District of Tamil Nadu.
(3)Learned AG&OT, having regard to various representations from reputed institutions, has verified that Smart Vision Glasses are Artificial Intelligence powered wearable device that utilize artificial intelligence, computer vision and machine learning to assist visually impaired individuals in their daily lives.
(4)Considering the key features of the equipments which would change the life of visually impaired persons, learned AG&OT has approached the suppliers who have been identified by the institutions who have given request. It is submitted by learned AG&OT that M/s.SHG Technologies Private Limited having office at Unit No.507, 5 th Floor, Brigade Rubix, Plot No.20, HMT Main Road, Bangalore 560013, is the supplier of Smart Vision Glasses Assistive Device for Visually Impaired SVG Pro 5.2 for visually impaired. After several rounds of negotiations, M/s.SHG Technologies Private Limited agreed to make a special discounted offer to learned AG&OT. As per their offer of the said Company, the Company is willing to supply 80 Nos. of Smart Vision Glasses Assistive Device Pro 5.2 at the cost of Rs.35,000/- per unit in addition to a special discounted offer. The Company has lso offered to
provide additional 20 Nos of Smart Vision Glasses free of cost for distribution to the needy people. Therefore, the understanding is that the Company would receive cost for 80 Units, i.e., Rs.29,40,000/- and would supply 100 units of Smart Vision Glasses Assistive Device for visually impaired.
(5)Considering the offer, learned AG&OT sought for permission of this Court, to purchase of 80 Nos of Smart Vision Glasses Assistive Device Pro 5.2, for visually impaired at the rate of Rs.35,000/- per Unit. It is further reported that the amount required for purchase of Smart Vision Glasses has to be remitted from the funds of the Trust Estates of Madras Ordinance Pensioned Luscars Charities, Nagai Visalakshi Ammal Trust and Pettukola Rajamannar ChettyTrust.
