The complaint given for chain snatching against unknown person is pending investigation in Cr.No.1077 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The victim is before this Court seeking direction to expedite the investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) states that so far the perpetrator of crime could not be identified, though intensive investigation is going on. Once, the perpetrator of crime is identified, then investigation is completed and final report will be filed.

4. In view of the facts that the FIR against unknown accused and the perpetrator of crime is yet to be identified, this Court declined to pass any order of completing the investigation within a stipulated time. However, this order shall not stand in the way of the respondent police from continuing their investigation and pursuit of identifying the perpetrator of the crime.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
