This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.68 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR was filed in the year 2015 and the petitioner approached the respondents on various dates to expedite the investigation but till now no action has been taken. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame.

3.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

4.Since the First Information Report has been filed in the year 2015 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.68 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly. -s/d- Assistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar To
