O R D E R

The title dispute has led to physical altercation between the parties, the seller and buyer. Already, the Civil Suit is pending in connection with the incident. Case and case in counter been registered in Cr.Nos.63 and 64 of 2024 registered by the respondent police respectively on 26.03.2024 and the same is under investigation. In the said circumstances, the present petition is filed by the accused in Cr.No.64 of 2024 who is the purchaser seeking police protection.

2. This matter has all the trappings of the criminal trespass and cheating and suit is also pending in this connection initiated by the defacto complainant.

3. The Police has to complete the investigation and find who is the aggressor and proceed as per the amended Police Standing Order 566. The police protection for one party or to protect the property in dispute cannot be granted. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed 2/4

with direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report at the earliest.
