This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to issue the patta in favour of the legal heirs of the deceased V.Gangadharan, based on the patta transfer application dated 08.01.2022 within time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that after the death of his father, he applied for transfer of patta in his favour on 08.01.2022. However, the same was not considered so far. Hence this Writ Petition.

4. Heard Mr.M.Aloysius Raja Pragash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for R1 and R2.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that if the legal heir certificate is produced before the second respondent, the order will be passed.

6. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to produce the legal heir certificate to the second respondent. On such production, the second respondent is directed to pass orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
