By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2017 and consequently to issue a No Objection Certificate to transfer patta in respect of lands in Survey No.296/2A, West Kalapatti Village, Coimbatore North Taluk in Patta No.1077.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondent. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the representation dated 14.03.2017 made by the petitioner is directed to be considered by the respondent, on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent, submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
