Respondents Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the 5th respondent in connection with the order passed by him in Letter No.2211/GM/LA-R&R/2013, dated 31.5.13 and quash the same and direct the respondents to act upon the recommendation made by the Special Deputy Collector, (Land Acquisition), Neyveli - 2 in his Proc.Na.Ka.Mu.Mu (D) 3665/99, dated 06.12.99 and provide employment to the petitioner's son, namely, R.Rajavaramban, in any of the existing or immediate future vacancies or pass any other appropriate writ, order or Direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the circumstances of the case.

ORDER
The writ petitioner made a claim for an order of appointment on the ground that when the land belonging to his family was claimed for acquisition, there was a promise by the respondents that an employment will be provided in Neyveli Lignite Corporation. The petitioner was waiting for an order of appointment from the respondents, since the land belonged to the writ petitioner's family was acquired. But he did not receive any order of appointment from the respondents. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 10.01.2014. In spite of all these, no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, in the year 2014, this writ petition was filed.
2. The learned Senior Counsel for the writ petitioner restricted the prayer in the writ petition and pleaded that it is suffice if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2014.
3. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 10.01.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
