O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Court below to complete the trial in a case, which is pending in C.C.No.708 of 2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is the de-facto complainant, who is aged more than 77 years. The complaint was registered in the year 2007 and the final report has been filed only during November 2017, as against 11 accused persons. The learned counsel would submit that the prosecution has shown totally 27 witnesses, who are going to be examined for the purpose of substantiating the case.

3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Special Magistrate for the exclusive trial of cases under CCB and CBCID, Egmore, Chennai, to complete the proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
