This civil revision petition is filed praying for a direction to the Rent Controller cum District Munsif, Tambaram, to conduct the proceedings and dispose the R.C.O.P.No.53 of 2013 within a stipulated period.

2. Mr.K.S.Natarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had initiated eviction proceedings against the respondent in the year 2013, seeking eviction on the ground of willful default and own use and occupation. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a senior citizen and

sms the respondent/tenant, without even paying the rent, has been squatting on the property and that the application in M.P.No.34 of 2014 filed by the petitioner under Section 11 (4) of the Act is not disposed of. The learned counsel further submitted that the respondent has been unnecessarily prolonging the litigation.

3. Considering facts and the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Rent controller cum District Munsif, Tambaram, is directed to dispose of M.P.No.34 of 2014 in R.C.O.P.N.53 of 2013 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of the order. In the result, the civil revision petition is disposed of.
