The decree holder in the Execution Petition in E.P.No.12 of 2014 in L.A.O.P.No.4 of 1993 on the file of Subordinate Judge, Vellore (Special Court for Land Acquisition cases) has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to number the application in E.A.Sr.No.343 of 2015 in E.P.No.12 of 2014.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that the decree holder filed an unnumbered application for issuance of cheque in the month of March 2015. Further, the learned counsel submitted that though the application was filed in March 2015, the Execution Court has not numbered the application. That apart, the learned counsel also submitted that since the application is pending for a long time, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.

3. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Subordinate Judge, Vellore (Special Court for Land Acquisition cases) to number the application in E.A.Sr.No.343 of 2015 in E.P.No.12 of 2014, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order , if it is otherwise

in order and the Execution Court is also directed to dispose of the said application on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of numbering of the application. With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
