When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Governemnt Advocate submitted that petition enquiry is pending.
2.In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the respondent to complete the enquiry, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a possibility of settlement between the parties. Hence he requested this Court to refer the matter to the Mediation Centre.
4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this matter is referred for mediation in order to resolve the dispute amicably between the parties. Hence this Court appoints Mr.T.Sai Krishnan, Mobile No.9840229542 as Mediator. Both the parties are directed to appear before the Mediator at Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras on 22.04.2024.
5.This petition is accordingly disposed of.
The respondent police is directed not to take any steps till then.
