ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner has challenged the impugned notice which is an order of eviction issued under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.

2. As the said order is appealable in nature, we are not inclined to hear the matter on merit.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of giving a further period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to file statutory appeal. Till such time, status quo as on today shall be maintained by both the parties. We make it clear that no construction shall be made during the interregnum by both the parties. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
