ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to forthwith release and return the original sale deed bearing No.2114 of 2025 dated 30.06.2025.

2. Mr. U. Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. On instructions, he would submit that pursuant to the re-fixation of guideline value, it is noticed that a sum of Rs.61,227/- towards stamp duty and Rs.19,925/- towards registration fees are payable by the petitioner to obtain release of the sale deed presented by the petitioner for registration.

3. On instructions, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is willing to pay the aforesaid sums to the respondents to obtain release of the sale deed presented by the petitioner for registration.

4. After recording the undertaking given by the petitioner as stated supra, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to release the

sale deed bearing No.2114 of 2025 dated 30.06.2025 to the petitioner on receipt of a total sum of Rs.81,152/-, which is payable towards stamp duty and registration charges. The third respondent shall release the document within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the payment from the petitioner. No Costs.
