Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus Directing the 2nd respondent to pass a considered order on the representation given by the petitioner on 9.5.2015 and as a consequential relief directing the respondents to issue a patta to the petitioner property situated at Zamin Pallavaram Village comprised in Survey No.266/4 measuring an extent of 0.22 cents in Survey No.266/6 - 0.35 cents and Survey No.266/3 - 0.39 1/2 out of 1 Acre 0.03 cents totally measuring an extent of 0.96 1⁄2 cents. By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property comprised in Survey Nos.266/4, 266/6 and 266/3 situated at Pallavaram, by virtue of registered settlement deed dated 17.10.2014 (document no.623/2015) executed by her husband, filed an application dated 09.05.2015 to the respondents for issuance of patta and the office of the first respondent forwarded the same vide Na.Ka.No.11888/2015/N.3 dated 28.05.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.T.Ramachandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

4.This Court without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2015 in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
