This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to disburse the 6% interest for belated payment of Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension Commutation and Earned Leave salary.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 &2 submitted that the respondents would pay the eligible amount to the petitioner with interest @ 6% p.a.

3. The respondents may examine the Service Register of the 2/5

petitioner and examine the eligible amount payable to him and pay the same with 6% interest p.a. from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
