Respondents Petition filed for the issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to call for the records on the file of the second respondent passed in C2/11668/2018 dated 21/04/2018 relating to the detention of Siva @ Sivakumar S/o Jayabal, aged 28 years, confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore, and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
(DELIVERED BY DR. S.VIMALA, J.) The present habeas corpus petition has been preferred by the petitioner challenging the detention order dated 21.04.2018 passed by the second respondent in and by which the second respondent detained the detenu, Siva @ Sivakumar S/o Jayabal,
branding him as a 'Black Marketeer' under the provisions of Sections 3(2)(a) read with Section 3(1) of the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Act 7 of 1980) with a view to preventing him from acting prejudicial to the maintenance of essential commodities under the Public Distribution System to family card holders.
2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submit that the detention order impugned above has been revoked by the Government. A copy of the order of revocation in G.O. Rt. No.192, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (E2) Department, dated 14.06.2018 is produced before this Court.
3. Recording the said revocation, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and, accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
