Respondent COMMON PRAYER: These Civil Revision Petition are filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the learned District Munsif, Ambatur to expedite the trial in RCOP.Nos.3, 4, 5 & 2/2013 and to complete the suit proceeding within a period stipulated by this Honouable Court. For Petitioner :
Mr.M.Dinesh C O M M O N O R D E R The revision petitioner herein is a landlord and he has filed four separate petitions under the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control ) Act, 1960 and they can be explained as below;
●He has taken out two Eviction Petitions, one for eviction of the first floor portion and the other for eviction of the ground floor portion respectively in RCOP.No.2 and 3 of 2013;
●He has also taken out two other petitions for fixation of fair rent, one pertaining to the first floor in RCOP.No.4 of 2013 and another for the ground floor in RCOP.No.5 of 2013. He says that the pleadings are complete. He has come out with this batch of Civil Revision Petitions for an expeditious disposal of all the four RCOPs. 2.Since the RCOP's are pending for the last 9 years with no progress, it is imperative that the learned Rent Controller bestows his best attention for an expeditious disposal of this batch of RCOP's. 3.Accordingly, the Rent Controller/District Munsif, Ambattur is directed to dispose of RCOP.No.2 to 5 of 2013 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and at any rate, not later than August, 2022.
4.The learned Principal District Judge, Thiruvallur is required to keep a tab on the progress of this long pending litigation and ensure that the Rent Controller/District Minsif, Ambattur complies with the order of this Court promptly.
