OPs C O M M O N O R D E R Criminal Original Petition No.20387 of 2015 has been filed to direct the Hon'ble XVII Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai to dispose the appeal in Crl.A.No.98 of 2015 against CC.No.1836 of 2013 expeditiously and Criminal Original Petition No.20388 of 2015 has been filed to direct the Hon'ble XVII Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai to dispose the appeal in Crl.A.No.99 of 2015 against CC.No.1837 of 2013 expeditiously.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.
3. It is seen that the respondent in CC.No.1836 of 2013 and CC.No.1837 of 2013 were convicted on 10.04.2015 for the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, challenging which, they https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
have filed Crl.A.No.98 of 2015 and Crl.A.No.99 of 2015 which are pending on the file of the learned XVII Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai.
4. It is the case of the petitioner/complainant that he has entered appearance in the appeals and that he is suffering from very serious physical ailment which is indeed life threatening.
5. Taking this fact into consideration, this Court directs the learned XVII Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai to dispose of Crl.A.No.98 of 2015 and Crl.A.No.99 of 2015 within three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Learned Judge, Fast Track Court-I, Egmore, Chennai is directed to send all the records in CC.No.1836 of 2013 and CC.No.1837 of 2013 immediately to the learned XVII Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai.
