ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking quashment of the F.I.R. in Cr.No.2 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police on the ground that the complaint, per se, is an abuse of process of law, lodged with an intention to harass the petitioner on an imaginary and frivolous allegation.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the police have completed the investigation and filed a final report before the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, on 25.07.2024.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, if so advised. Connected Crl.M.Ps. are closed.
