For Petitioner : Mr.A.Rajesh Kanna [in both CRPs] C O M M O N O R D E R These Civil Revision Petitions are filed seeking direction to the learned III Additional Family Judge, Chennai, to dispose of the petitions in O.P.No.4638 of 2017 and O.P.No.1750 of 2018 respectively, within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, the petitioner filed the petition [O.P.No.4638 of 2017] for divorce under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 and the respondent filed the petition [O.P.No.1750 of 2018] for restitution of conjugal rights under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent [wife], is deliberately protracting the proceedings. In support of his case, he filed copies of diary extracts in both the cases. Therefore, he seeks direction to the learned III Additional Family Judge, Chennai, for disposal of these cases, within a stipulated period.

O.P.No.4638 2017 is pending for 4 years and O.P.No.1750 of 2018 is pending for 3 years and only P.W.1 was examined in-part. In the circumstances stated in the petition the fact that these petitions are pending from the year 2017 and 2018 respectively, this Courts directs the learned III Additional Family Judge, Chennai, to dispose of the petitions in O.P.No.4638 of 2017 and O.P.No.1750 of 2018 respectively, as early as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
