O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to extend the time for furnishing one surety for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) before the concerned Magistrate as per the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8038 of 2020, dated 02.06.2020. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not furnish the surety for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) within the time granted by this Court because of the reason that learned counsel for the petitioner did not attend the Court due to COVID-19 and he was not allowed inside of the learned District Court premises. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of the above submissions, the time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8038 of 2020, dated 02.06.2020, is extended. The petitioner shall within two weeks from the lifting of lockdown or resuming of normal functioning of Courts whichever is earlier, surrender before the Court concerned and furnish surety. -sd/- 15/07/2020 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
