2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 15.03.2019, wherein and whereby, he sought for permission to conduct Chitra Pournami festival in the month of April 2019 at Arulmigu Hosur Mariamman Temple, Arugavur Village, Villupuram District.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents.

5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents 2 & 3 to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Since it is stated that the said festival is to be scheduled on 19.04.2019, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned on or before 15.04.2019. No costs.
