The writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the application submitted by petitioner for the post of "Post Graduates Assistants" (Post Code 21PG) in the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Educational Service for the year 2020-21, in pursuance of their notification dated 09.09.2021/Advertisement No.01/2021, under BC category and enable her to avail the consequential benefits of reservation that is available for the backward casts as provided by the government of Tamil Nadu for BC candidates.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition. He also made an endorsement in the Court bundle to that effect.

Considering the submissions and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
