This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the third Respondent to register and investigate the complaint of the petitioner dated 29.12.2021 on the file of the Respondent's herein in accordance with law. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third Respondent to register and investigate the complaint of the petitioner dated 29.12.2021 on the file of the Respondents.

2. Mr.A.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the accused has cheated the petitioner to the tune of Rs.12 Lakhs in Real Estate transaction. The petitioner had

given a complaint to the third respondent on 29.12.2021. However, no action has been taken by the third respondent. Thereby, the present petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to register the case.

Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl. side) would submit that earlier, the petitioner had sent a similar complaint to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell and the complaint was forwarded to the third respondent/Inspector of Police, Tank Factory Police Station, Avadi, enquiry was conducted and closed on 11.02.2021. Without challenging the closure report, the petitioner has once again sent a complaint to the Director General of Police.

4. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not received the closure report.

5. In view of the above, direction is issued to the third respondent to furnish the copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. On such receipt, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report by way of filing protest petition in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
