O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate Police protection to the petitioner forthwith by considering his representation dated 17.05.2022.

2.The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that petitioner's life is being threatened by one Velmurugan. Petitioner is a member of Political party. He further submitted that one Pandian is nephew of the petitioner. Pandian was kidnapped and murdered by Velmurugan. Velmurugan is now threatening petitioner. Therefore, this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.1138 of 2022 is pending.

4.In the light of the submission of learned counsel appearing for parties, this Court directs the respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2022 and pass appropriate orders in the manner known to law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above direction and observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
