This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 17.10.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for transfer of patta in her name with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.R.Sethuvarayar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is placing reliance upon the settlement deed dated 22.06.2015 executed in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the patta granted in the name of the grandmother of the petitioner, who had settled the property in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner submitted an application seeking for transfer of patta. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the 2/4

case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh online application to the second respondent along with all the relevant documents and particulars by paying necessary charges. On receipt of the same, the second respondent shall pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of fresh online application from the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
