ORDER
By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.Mr.Shahjahan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3.This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to re-register the petitioner's LMV Tractors in Old Registration Nos.TS 24 B 9530 and TS 21 E 8790 based on the applications of the petitioner dated 21.08.2023 and 28.08.2023 with dispatch reference Nos.1825/A1/2024 and 1826/A1/2024 of the second respondent dated 11.01.2024.
4.The petitioner has purchased the aforementioned tractors. He has sought for re-registration of the said tractors in his name through his applications dated 21.08.2023 and 28.08.2023. According to the petitioner, till date, his applications have not been processed and the tractors have not been re-registered in his name. Under those circumstances, this writ petition has been filed. 2/4
5.No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's applications as stated supra, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's applications dated 21.08.2023 and 28.08.2023, pertaining to his tractors bearing old Registration Nos.TS 24 B 9530 and TS 21 E 8790 with dispatch reference Nos.1825/A1/2024 and 1826/A1/2024 of the second respondent dated 11.01.2024, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
