PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and the labour concerned for erecting the fencing to the petitioner's housing site situated at East of the River, West of the Path, North of the Palanivel's Land South of the EB Periyasamy's Land totally 2325.1/3 square feet bearing Survey No. 507/3A based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2025. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and the labour concerned for erecting the fencing to the petitioner's housing site situated at East of the River, West of the Path, North of the Palanivel's Land South of the EB Periyasamy's Land totally 2325.1/3 square feet bearing Survey No. 507/3A based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2025.

2. Heard the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the third respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Attur Sub Division, Salem is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2025, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 15 herein and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
