This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 10.06.2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has purchased 3068 sq.ft. of land on 03.12.2007 from one Palaniappan who was the owner of large extent of land. The said Palaniappan appears to have sold 532 sq.ft. of land to one Adikesavan prior to 03.12.2007. While so, it is alleged by the petitioner that the said Adikesavan is not permitting the petitioner, even to go into his land.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that earlier, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR. No.417 of 2011 and the same was closed by the 2nd respondent police on the ground that the dispute is civil in nature.

5. Thereafter, it appears that the Tahsildar of Ambattur has surveyed the land and has found that the petitioner has title to 3068 sq.ft. of land by his report. Despite this, the said Adikesavan is not permitting the petitioner to enter into his land.

6. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give fresh complaint in person to the 2nd respondent and on such complaint being given, the 2nd respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with law.
