ORDER
The above writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated dated 3.4.2014 to pay the compensation along with interest for acquisition of land bearing Survey No. 354/4 in Irungattukottai.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that they are the legal heirs of their mother Alamelu Achi, who died on 17.8.2012. The respondents have initiated the land acquisition proceedings during the life time of Alamelu Achi and the land was acquired, however, according to the petitioners, the respondents have not given the compensation amount till this date. In these circumstances, the first petitioner gave a representation dated 3.4.2014 to the respondents, however the same has not yet been disposed of by the respondents.

Mr.Sudarsana Sundar, learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.R.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent and the learned counsels have submitted that all the three petitioners may be directed to give fresh representation to the respondents.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, all the three petitioners are directed to give a representation to the respondents within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the representation from the petitioners, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks thereafter.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
