Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct an enquiry and cancel the documents namely Power of Attorney, dated 26.02.2014, registered as document No.1320 of 2014 and Sale Deed, dated 27.02.2014, registered as document No.1337/2014, in the light of the Circular No.67/2011, dated 03.11.2011, and make an endorsement by way of note of annulment in relevant books. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

The petitioner would state that he purchased a plot bearing No.43, V.G.P.Selva Nagar, Velachery, Chennai-42, by means of a registered sale deed, dated 15.06.1978, registered as document No.839/1978, and is in possession and enjoyment of the same. He would also state that he later came to know that somebody has fabricated and forged the document purported to be a Power of Attorney alleged to be executed by the petitioner in favour of one Veeraraghavan authorising him to sell the plot and the said Power https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of Attorney has been registered as document No.1320/2014, dated 26.02.2014, and, based on the fraudulent Power of Attorney, on the very next day, i.e., 27.02.2014, a sale deed has been executed by the said Veeraraghavan in favour of one R.Sridhar Paul, vide document No.1337, on the file of the Office of Sub-Registrar, Velachery. According to the petitioner, in this regard, he also lodged a police complaint and also moved the first respondent to cancel the said documents in the light of Circular No.67, dated 03.11.2011, and, the first respondent, in turn, directed the second respondent, by a communication, dated 07.07.2014, to take appropriate action in the matter, but, in spite the same, no orders have been passed and, hence, he has come forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Sethuraman, learned counsel for the petitioner; and also Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate, who took notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.05.2014, after taking into consideration the letter No.25144/U1/2014, dated 19.12.2014, sent by the first respondent, and dispose of the same in accordance with law, after putting on notice respondents 4 and 5, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioner and also the private respondents.
