This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 408 days in filing the appeal against the conviction passed by the learned II Additional Special Court under NDPS Act, Chennai in C.C.No.15 of 2013, dated 25.01.2019.

2. Mr.S.Vinoth Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the reasons mentioned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, I am of the view that this is a fit case to condone the delay in filing the appeal.

5. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.

6. Registry is directed to number the Crl.A.SR.No.18705 of 2022, if it is otherwise in order.
