This Writ Petition is filed seeking permission to conduct the cultural program (Aadal & Padal Programme) Arulmighu Sri Marriamman Temple, Kokarayanpetti Village, Kumarapalayam Taluk, Namakkal District scheduled to be held on 03.01.2018 by considering the respresentation dated 23.12.2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.Admittedly, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 23.12.2017. Since, no permission has been granted, the petitioner has preferred this petition seeking for grant of permission to conduct the cultural program, which is scheduled to be held on 03.01.2018.

4.Learned Government Advocate admitted that, so far no action has been taken to dispose of the petitioner's representation.

5.In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders purely on merits, on or before 02.01.2018. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
